Design Inspiration
We wanted to create a design that celebrates the bond between hunters and their dogs. As well as honouring the dogs who work tirelessly and fearlessly to perform for their handlers. We have included iconic animals such as elk, duck and moose in the design as well as a Handler with their Hound. The colours were inspired by camouflage clothing; the classic orange pattern, as well as the digital camouflage.
About the Artist
The artist who designed the Banff design is Nova DeFehr, she moved to Vernon, BC after graduating with her Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design for Marketing in 2008 and has worked for amazing brands across Canada specializing in logo and brand development.
In fact, she is a big part of Rocky Mountain Dog's brand, designing our logo and our first four leash designs.
